Text: Ephesians 1:16-23 INTRODUCTION As a believer of God's word, please don't come to a point where God's word is relegated in your life. Many times, we take God's word for granted and the adverse result of this is that it becomes ineffective for us. We must understand that God will never reach anyone outside the context of His word. Let every siege over my destiny be destroyed in Jesus Name. THINGS THAT COULD BE A SIEGE A Siege is a bondage that keeps a person stagnated at a spot for a long period of time. A siege could also be an imprisonment which by a way restricts a person to a specific location. And as a result of this, there is no meaningful  movement. A siege could also be a yoke placed on someone. This yoke can be likened to a debt and as a result of this, such a person is held bound to another person for no good reason. 2 Kings 6:25 A siege in man's life represents a demonic boundary demarcation set over that person, capable of holding the person down from having prosperity. Anyone under a siege may sometimes lack direction on what to do. When you see anyone whose life seems to be meaningless; the person suddenly loses understanding of what is good, such a person is likely to be under a siege. This is why we need to pray. When anyone is under a siege, such a person will remain stagnant in life. Every power of stagnancy holding my life from progressing, let them be broken in Jesus Name Father, please come into my situation and deliver me in Jesus Name. REDEMPTION During our study last week, we were able to establish a few points which also served as the foundational truth of every Believer's Authority. One of the major points made was that we are the signature of God. Also, God had made every necessary provision ready for man before he was ever made. Furthermore, we also learnt that the regeneration of man has been provided for ever before man lost his Authority to Satan. In addition, we also learnt that God is not actually in control of the earth. Man, who was given the Authority of the earth to, lost it to Satan and by this negotiation, Satan became the ruler of the earth. However, God still has the final say because He has absolute control over the devil. Text: 2 Kings 6:24-30 There are several indicators that show when there is a siege in a man’s life. We have been able to know what a siege is in the previous edition so today before we pray, let’s quickly examine how to know that a man is under a siege. JOBLESSNESS IN THE MIDST OF ABUNDANT JOB OPPORTUNITIES: When a man is facing joblessness in the midst of numerous job opportunities around him, then such a person might be under a siege. The person might even possess the best certificates but yet still without a job; it's a sign of siege LACK IN THE MIDST OF ABUNDANCE: If in a situation of abundance of wealth and riches, then someone is still in lack, then such person may be under a siege. Text: Genesis 1:26-28 One of the first things in discovering the Believer’s Authority is to identify where man was from the very beginning. This talks about the creation of man, the fall of man and how man was restored back to his original position. When God made man, God placed man in total Dominion over all that God created. Now, when the Bible said God made man a little lower than the angels (Psalm 8:5), what that place meant in actual context was that man was made a little lower than God himself. This was because God had commanded that He would give angels charge to guide us (Man) - Psalm 92:11-12.
