A siege in man's life represents a demonic boundary demarcation set over that person, capable of holding the person down from having prosperity. Anyone under a siege may sometimes lack direction on what to do. When you see anyone whose life seems to be meaningless; the person suddenly loses understanding of what is good, such a person is likely to be under a siege. This is why we need to pray.
When anyone is under a siege, such a person will remain stagnant in life.
  • Every power of stagnancy holding my life from progressing, let them be broken in Jesus Name
  • Father, please come into my situation and deliver me in Jesus Name.
If anyone is experiencing infrastructural delay, this could also be likened to the work of a siege. When you can no longer maintain your assets such as houses, cars and other machinery, this is a sign of infrastructural delay and it is a siege.
Also, when the life of a man is totally unkempt - that is, when a person begins to live anyhow; when things aren’t in place then this is also a siege.
  • Father, every power that wants me to diminish, I live above them in Jesus Name.
When someone who used to be brilliant and excellent suddenly begins to go backwards, then it is a siege. A child can be very intelligent at a particular time and then suddenly such a child begins to perform woefully, this isn't ordinary; it is a siege.
Another major sign of siege is when there is a sudden breakdown at the verge of success in life. John 5:1-11, Isaiah 29:8
  • Father, every power that will not allow me to translate my dream to reality, die by fire.
There are two main reason behind failure in life, they are:
  1. The mystery of the power of darkness
  2. Inability to activate the Power of God
  • Father, every power that is subjecting me to unbelief, let them be destroyed in Jesus Name.

WHAT DO I DO
God has given you the power to declare a thing and it shall be established, so you need to use your own mouth to make positive declarations into your life. 1 Kings 7:1, 1 Samuel 3:19, Proverbs 18:21
  • Father, I am delivered, I am set free, I am more than a conqueror, I am the righteousness of God, I am a chosen generation, I am wonderfully made, I am victorious, I am a winner.
Whenever there is a siege, you need the voice of God. Psalm 29:5 tells us that the voice of God comes like fire and it makes commandments as it wills.

  • Father, cause every siege in my life, in my family and in Nigeria to hear the voice of war in the Name of Jesus.
  • Father, every siege called CoronaVirus, die permanently in Jesus Name

THE NEW BIRTH 3

From the previous weeks on the topic “NEW BIRTH” , we have learnt that there is a new birth in Christ Jesus to all those who will surrender their will to him. Precisely last week, we learnt about “Life and Death” and we were able to establish the fact that there is a Life after we die of physical death. Using the story of Lazarus and the Rich man as a case study, we learnt that the rich man consistently fed his flesh and left the spirit stranded. And Lazarus on the other hand, though physically poor but his spirit was rich. And when the judgement day came, Lazarus entered into Abraham' Bosom while the rich man was left to suffer in pain. Lazarus enjoyed eternal life after death while the rich man had eternal death, which is the second death. Hence, we must ensure our spirit-man is greatly nourished above the flesh because man is a spirit being.
