THE SIEGE IS OVER 4

Bible text: 2 Kings 6:23-25

Prayer: Father, I stand in you and I speak authoritatively and speak against every siege over my life in Jesus Name. Let every siege over my destiny be destroyed in Jesus Name.

THINGS THAT COULD BE A SIEGE
  • A Siege is a bondage that keeps a person stagnated at a spot for a long period of time.
  • A siege could also be an imprisonment which by a way restricts a person to a specific location. And as a result of this, there is no meaningful  movement.
  • A siege could also be a yoke placed on someone. This yoke can be likened to a debt and as a result of this, such a person is held bound to another person for no good reason. And when a man is in debt, he begins to bear a name that is not his.
  • A siege could as well be a spell or a curse affecting the destiny of a person - 2 Kings 6:23-25. And when someone is under a curse, it renders every effort of that person as nothing.
  • A siege can also be likened to a rise and fall in life. When a person rises for a short period of time and then falls again repeatedly, then such person is under a siege.
Now, we must understand that a man can be besieged together with his family, job, career and marriage - a siege can affect any aspect of a man’s life including spiritually as well. And for you to end a besiegement, you need to first build a relationship with the only one who can end every form of siege. Afterwards, you then cry to Him to put an end to every form of siege you may be passing through.

PRAYER
  1. Father, every besiegement over my life, my family, my business, my career, my marriage, let them scatter by fire in Jesus Name.
  2. According to Isaiah 44:25, every token of liars against my destiny, be frustrated in Jesus Name.
  3. Father, I frustrate every token of the liars and divination of the wicked in Jesus Name.
  4. Begin to make Prophetic declarations over you destiny

THE NEW BIRTH 3

From the previous weeks on the topic “NEW BIRTH” , we have learnt that there is a new birth in Christ Jesus to all those who will surrender their will to him. Precisely last week, we learnt about “Life and Death” and we were able to establish the fact that there is a Life after we die of physical death. Using the story of Lazarus and the Rich man as a case study, we learnt that the rich man consistently fed his flesh and left the spirit stranded. And Lazarus on the other hand, though physically poor but his spirit was rich. And when the judgement day came, Lazarus entered into Abraham' Bosom while the rich man was left to suffer in pain. Lazarus enjoyed eternal life after death while the rich man had eternal death, which is the second death. Hence, we must ensure our spirit-man is greatly nourished above the flesh because man is a spirit being.
