Welcome Address
Welcome to the month of August, for us in RCCG Rhema Chapel it's our month of UNPRECEDENTED PRAISE. In this month we will be lifting our souls to God in an unparalleled praise, we will not hold back in gratitude to God for his manifold blessing over our life, family and his church. We are known for Word, Prayer and Praise, so therefore, we will live, act and do praise unto our maker in this very month of August, at the end all shall be wonderful. Get set to give him praise.
UNPRECEDENTED PRAISE
Text: Acts 16:25-29 KJV
[25] And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. [26] And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. [27] And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. [28] But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. [29] Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,
Psalm 89:1-2 KJV
[1] I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. [2] For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.
MIRACLES THAT PRAISE CAN PRODUCE
1. PRAISES PRODUCES SUPERNATURAL FLOW OF FAVOUR
Your dancing step with a grateful heart is all you need to contact unexplainable Favour from God.
Your dance is an outward expression of your praise to God. Whenever we dance our way to God's heart He offers us an open cheque of Favour. In Mark 6:22-23, Herodias daughter danced so that the father asked her for any Favour she wanted. In 2 Samuel 6:14, David danced before God to the extent that the wife mocked him and she remained barren all her life.
2. PRAISING GOD PROVOKES DIVINE JUDGEMENT UPON YOUR ENEMIES
Psalm 149:6-9 KJV
[6] Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two edged sword in their hand; [7] To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; [8] To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; [9] To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord
Anytime you are in God's presence, dance with understanding that the word of God is settled in heaven and on earth.
2 Samuel 6:14 KJV
And David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.
David danced unto the Lord and he never lost any battle till he died.
3. PRAISING GOD PRESERVES OUR BLESSING AND TESTIMONIES
When we give thanks to God, we made him provide insurance and security for our blessings and testimonies. We must engage the mystery of thanksgiving and praises to commit Him to perform his word in our life.
Malachi 2:1-4 KJV
And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. [2] If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. [3] Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it. [4] And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the Lord of hosts.
Jeremiah 13:16 KJV
Give glory to the Lord your God, before he causes darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.
4. PRAISES RELEASES ON US FRESH OIL
Psalm 92:1-2, 10
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High. To shew forth thy loving kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night. Thereafter, he said: But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of a unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil
That means thanksgiving and praise are covenant platforms through which we encounter fresh oil.
Psalm 89:20-23
I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him. And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.
Psalm 119:164 KJV Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.
Apostle Paul, whom God anointed so much, said: In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
Thanksgiving and praise to God is non-negotiable if you want your testimonies delivered, blessings released, miracles secured and the oil overflowing.

So so timely!!! In all things I give thanks.
