FACTS ABOUT THE NEW BIRTH (THE NEW CREATURE)
2 Corinthians 5:17

Just as we have been looking through this topic for the past four Wednesdays now, we can deduce that as soon as a anyone takes on the leadership of Jesus Christ, the new creature is activated immediately. This also indicates that a particular life is ended and another commences immediately. The old nature is gone and the new nature is activated. A particular life experience ends while another is automatically activated. 

FIVE (5) FACT ABOUT THE NEW CREATURE

1. YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD – John 8:44
You must understand that as soon as you become a New Creature, you are clothed with the garment of sonship to God who is now your Father. We have learnt in the previous lessons that sinners are Spiritual Seeds of Satan. Hence, the moment there is a New Life in Christ, there is a transfer from being a son of the devil to being the child of God. This sometimes doesn’t look like so because the devil sometimes comes and tells you different things, please disregard and believe on in the true word of God through the Holy Spirit. As long as you have access to Jesus, then you have access to the Father. 
Irrespective what you face, you must constantly remember that God cares so much about you – John 14:23. So if you love Jesus, then you will keep His commandments. And you can only find out the intentions of the Father through His Word. 

Facts About God’s Love
• Nature of your Father is Love (Romans 8)
• He cares for you
• His Love for you is real
• He is everything the Word says He is
• He will do everything the Word say He would do

2. YOU ARE A NEW CREATURE, NEW CREATION AND NEW SPECIE – 1 Peter 3:4
Another fact about the New Birth is that you become a New person completely. There is a regeneration of the inner man. This newness has to do with your soul and your spirit. As a result of your spirit in agreement with the Spirit of God, your inner man which is your soul is renewed. And you become a New Specie because you are no longer under the government of darkness – you are being redeemed to Light, hence you become a New Specie. And we understand that the Physical eyes cannot interact with the Spirit, it takes the Spirit to interact with the things of the Spirit. 

3. YOU ARE ONE WITH THE MASTER – 1 Corinthians 6:17, John 15:5 
The moment you become a new creature, you share the same Spirit with the Father, hence, you are in one accord with God. The Psalmist even said “Ye are gods”. Hence, we have the same Spirit joined together with the Father. And because of this, you have the same stand with Him, whatever you say is what He says. 

4. ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE FOR YOU – Matthew 19:26
As long as the natural man is limited to the laws of nature, we have some things that may be impossible to us. But as soon as you come under the new management, all things are possible for us. When you begin to see a few limitations as prescribed by the devil, you have the power to rebuke him and put him to where he belongs. And whenever life throws some difficult situations at you, all you need to do is rejoice because you know you have victory waiting for you. 

5. THE GREAT ONE IS IN YOU – 1 John 4:4
We are born of God means that we have become a Spirit being – it means that our Spirit is recreated by the Spirit of God. When a man is re-created, such man has eternal life already. Until we come to the full knowledge that the substance and nature of God is withing our Spirit, we will remain under the bondage of sin and fear. When we come to the knowledge of God, the new man is formed in us and rules us.

CONCLUSION
In the book of John 10:10, Jesus revealed to us that despite the plan of the devil is to kill, steal and destroy us, He has planned for us to have Life and have it more abundantly. God is assuring us that we can have a complete Life – a life of Fullness only if we give out totality to Him.

THE NEW BIRTH 3

From the previous weeks on the topic “NEW BIRTH” , we have learnt that there is a new birth in Christ Jesus to all those who will surrender their will to him. Precisely last week, we learnt about “Life and Death” and we were able to establish the fact that there is a Life after we die of physical death. Using the story of Lazarus and the Rich man as a case study, we learnt that the rich man consistently fed his flesh and left the spirit stranded. And Lazarus on the other hand, though physically poor but his spirit was rich. And when the judgement day came, Lazarus entered into Abraham' Bosom while the rich man was left to suffer in pain. Lazarus enjoyed eternal life after death while the rich man had eternal death, which is the second death. Hence, we must ensure our spirit-man is greatly nourished above the flesh because man is a spirit being.
