MANIFESTED GLORY 4

Text: Genesis 32:24-28
For the past three Mondays, we have been considering the topic “Manifested Glory” and one of the vital facts about the Manifestation of Glory is that until you take a bold step of faith, you may never experience it.

The story in the Bible text above shows us a man who wrestled with an Angel until he got his solution. The first thing about that story is that he was swift enough to take hold of that opportunity to change his destiny, if he had missed that opportunity, another one wouldn’t have come. That is why we need to pray.

1. Father, as I am in your presence tonight, I am taking this opportunity, that manifested Glory that would change the situation of my life completely, let it happen to me tonight in Jesus Name.

Another thing we can learn is that Jacob didn’t give. He could have decided to relax after he had made several attempts to plead his case but we saw that he stood with God till he got his miracle.

2. Father, I will not give up until you settle me in Jesus Name

When your heart is fixed on God, you automatically get the blessings from God.
We saw that after Jacob wrestled with God, he got a new Name, his name changed from Jacob to Israel.

3. Father, as I cry tonight with every zeal in me, my Name is changed from being cursed to being a blessing in Jesus Name

And then after that time, he began to walk in the newness of that Name, the Glory of that new name began to manifest.

4. Father, by the reason of the testimony I receive tonight, I live in its reality in Jesus' Name.

Topic: The Wonders of Commitment  Text: Matthew 22:35-40 Commitment means total and absolute surrender once and for all time. The God we serve never does things in half measures. No half blessings with God. Psalm 23:5 Luke 5:1-7 No half breakthrough with God. If He gives you a breakthrough, it will frighten you. There’s no half measure healing with God. THE NEW BIRTH 3

From the previous weeks on the topic “NEW BIRTH” , we have learnt that there is a new birth in Christ Jesus to all those who will surrender their will to him. Precisely last week, we learnt about “Life and Death” and we were able to establish the fact that there is a Life after we die of physical death. Using the story of Lazarus and the Rich man as a case study, we learnt that the rich man consistently fed his flesh and left the spirit stranded. And Lazarus on the other hand, though physically poor but his spirit was rich. And when the judgement day came, Lazarus entered into Abraham' Bosom while the rich man was left to suffer in pain. Lazarus enjoyed eternal life after death while the rich man had eternal death, which is the second death. Hence, we must ensure our spirit-man is greatly nourished above the flesh because man is a spirit being.
